Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Association of Calgary

APO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF CALGARY is a Registered non-profit organization in Calgary, Alberta. It is also a member of the ALPHA PHI OMEGA ( PHILIPPINES) ALUMNI COUNCIL OF NORTH AMERICA (APO-ACNA). Members show their community spirit by donating their time and resources in Calgary and supporting various donation drives and outreach program in the Philippines.

The Alpha Phi Omega Calgary Alumni Association aims to develop leaders, foster lifelong friendships, and provide community service, continuing the fraternity’s core values beyond the collegiate experience.​

Mission Statement
The mission of Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Calgary Association is to connect our alumni members, sustain the spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service, and create inclusive communities where members can continue to impact communities meaningfully. Through these associations, members maintain flexible engagement with other APO members, support student chapters, and foster leadership skills and service initiatives that extend the fraternity’s values into broader societal contexts. Alumni may also participate in chapter advising, regional coordination, or national committees to contribute to the ongoing development of the organization.

Vision Statement
The vision of an Alpha Phi Omega Calgary Alumni Association is to cultivate a world where members are empowered to lead, unite through friendship, and serve society, thereby expanding the reach and impact of APO’s cardinal principles beyond the collegiate environment. This aspirational goal emphasizes personal growth, community-minded action, and the creation of opportunities for others to thrive, reflecting the ideal of lifelong membership and engagement.


Guiding Principles
The Alpha Phi Omega Calgary Alumni Associations is grounded in the fraternity’s three Cardinal Principles, which continue to guide our alumni association's efforts:

1. Leadership: Developing members’ leadership skills through active participation in service projects, alumni governance, mentoring, and professional networking opportunities. Leadership is cultivated as a lifelong practice, not limited to collegiate chapters 

2. Friendship: Encouraging meaningful, enduring relationships among alumni members, bridging connections across generations, geographic locations, and shared interests. Friendship strengthens collaboration and enhances the impact of service initiatives 

3. Service: Engaging members in community service that meets the needs of society, including educational support, disaster relief, and other philanthropic initiatives. Service fosters civic responsibility and reinforces the role of alumni members as agents of positive change
